The beauty industry can be a horrible place, and we’re not afraid to admit it. The standards of beauty in the marketing and advertising of skin care and cosmetics needs to change, and we’re proud to be a part of a shift in the right direction.

Our brand was born in 2020, and the Black Lives Matter movement has guided our push for inclusivity in all regards. We're representing more faces and bodies that young people can look up to and relate to when they view our social media, our website, and our ads. We’re proud to use and pay real people and our real customers in our media, not professional models with flawless, retouched skin.

A deep respect for people & planet.

It hit us when we shipped our one-millionth product. The fact of the matter is, one day, the products we make will end up in a landfill, and that doesn’t sit well with us. That’s why we purchase carbon-offsets for the air and ocean transport of our products, and why we select only packaging made with previously-recycled components and materials.

From Iceland to South Africa, we source ingredients from all over the world. We declare a responsibility to ethically source these ingredients, to understand and monitor the environmental impact on their production, and to pay fair market value across our entire supply chain for the human capital and raw materials that make our brand uniquely Dew.

Pride in ingredients + a love of chemistry.

We promise to never forget that what we make goes inside someone’s body. To proudly display our ingredient lists. To cut out the use of unnecessary fillers, preservatives and chemicals. We promise to challenge test our formulas and seek new ways to balance stability and innovation.

We promise to never test on animals. To prioritize quality over profit, and to ensure the product you receive makes you happy and proud to be a part of our brand family.

Is it weird if we call skin care boring? Why is it so boring? Every Dew product is a piece of art, from the formula, to the packaging. Make it cute, but make it functional. Make it dramatic but keep it real. It’s not that hard. Other brands just don’t get it, we guess.

Plus, we're constantly striving to create more environmentally-friendly packaging. For example, the picture of Fijifuji right here? It's beautiful packaging. But, it's acrylic. We want to be an acrylic-free brand by late 2024, and a plastic-free brand by 2025.

From Canada, with love. A message from our founder.

Hi there! My name is Ryan and I’m the founder of Dew of the Gods. I have a passion for thriving skin, challenge-based product formulations, and the art of the brand.

I got my start in the world of cosmetics as Employee #2 at Kylie Cosmetics. Helping launch and manage one of the biggest cosmetics brands in the world taught me how to put your heart, soul, and personality into a brand, give it everything you’ve got, and watch it grow wings. The story of that brand may seem unreachable to some, but I believe that integrity, transparency and a love for what you do can lift anyone into that stratosphere.

Going on to help design and build some of the biggest brands in the cosmetics world, I knew I had to venture out on my own to bring my own unique personality and vision to an industry that needs change. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I feel that I have both a license to be creative and expressive, but also a duty to make my community proud through inclusivity, diversity and innovation. Aside from bringing you great skin through amazing ingredients and the beautiful artistry of our products, I’m here to inspire, learn, and grow together.
